  • If you love charcoal grilled seafood as much as we do, you'll be dying to visit Elia Greek Island Taverna overlooking the Broadwater at Marina Mirage. You can visit for dips, nibbles and wine, a full meal or sunset drinks, but we can't go past their seafood. Start with taramasalata and go from there... Gorgeous for lunch basking in the winter sun. • Got plans for this week? On Wednesday it's National Tequila Day. Why not celebrate at La Diosa Mexicana @circle_on_cavill Did you know that the best tequila has a national Mexican government seal of approval? It's made from blue weber agave, aged and distilled, tequila from the best area classified like 'grand cru'. Don't waste time on the rest, just head for the best margaritas and tacos @ladiosamexicana_gc
  • Holy moly! Can you believe this dessert at @ladiosamexicana_gc @circle_on_cavill #surfersparadise? It's a flaming cactus... Literally! A cactus-shaped caramel corn and chilli chocolate ice cream Bombe Alaska, it's doused with smoky mezcal tequila and set alight at the table! Amazing to watch and tastes great too! What a special birthday 🎂 cake it would make! Cool bananas! @ladiosamexicana_gc #flamingoandcactus Review on website foodgoldcoast.com.au

  • When you're craving that sweet, but not too sweet treat mid morning, head to Bam Bam Bakehouse for their Creme brulee tart, specially created by Head Pastry Chef Aurelio Gulino using CSR specialty sugars. Its short, biscuity base is filled with luscious caramelised coconut sugar patisserie cream, flamed off on top for a crisp, cracking layer of brulee. So delicious, it will be staying on their menu for some time to come 😋! 📷 @lukemarsdenphoto
